My name is Tashery Risner. I'm a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and breastfeeding mother of a wildly active 4 year old boy. I have been in the lactation world as a professional for over 3 years now and as a breastfeeding and pumping mother, 3 years as well. I am a Designated Breastfeeding Expert for Indiana WIC and I am a supervisor for their first ever Mobile Lactation Unit. I am also a digital coordinator for the NCBfC SAFE Team responsible for making sure all infants are fed safely in natural disasters. I also am the chapter founder for the Great Lakes Global Military Community to help create a support group for breastfeeding veterans and service members and their breastfeeding dependents.
